ANSH

Two Years Later

Two blissful years have passed since Aanchal and I made it official and travelled together on this incredible journey called marriage. Even now, my heart swells with pride and pure adoration whenever I look at my beautiful wife.

Watching her growth and transformation over these two years has been a different experience altogether. The woman I first met is all but a distant memory—instead, in her place stands a radiant, confident soul, brimming with laughter and zest for life.

Aanchal has taken up cooking with a passion these days. Yep! Being a foodie has motivated her to try out new cuisines. With Kaka as her eager taste tester, she keeps experimenting in the kitchen during her free time, determined to master all my favourite recipes and more.

“What do you think of this?” she asked once, offering me a spoonful of some mysterious looking curry she’d whipped up.

I eyed the rather... uh, vibrant orange-red mixture sceptically before taking a tentative spoonful. An explosion of contrasting flavours—sweet, sour, spicy—all did a tango on my tongue, the burst of savoury flavours a delight to my senses. It is definitely an acquired taste.

Her head cocked as she studied my expression with a tiny furrow between her brows, clearly confused by my reaction yet waiting for my verdict.

Instead of replying, I simply pulled her into my arms, pressing a kiss to her temple. “Does it matter what it tastes like? It’s delicious, just like you.”
